Here’s a VERY early idea of our route, taking us through 18 countries and roughly 15,500 km (9,500 miles): Britain, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Mongolia.

This route deviates from the three “common” routes that many take by going through Iran instead of catching a ride on a container ship (their version of a ferry) as an unofficial stow-away, monitored by guys with AK-47s and not given food, water or bathrooms (this is seriously what I’ve read about these “ferries”).
