How the money will be used:
Proceeds from this fundraising event will be used to offset the cost of buying our car. Once we reach the $750 mark, all remaining profits earned will be donated directly to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
In turn, the car (and all gear not coming home with us) is donated to the Mongol Rally’s charity auction upon reaching the finish line or *knock on wood* it dies and gets hauled there. The auction sells to those who need the items, and the cash raised is then donated to our charities. It’s a win-win-win for us, the new owner and our charities!
Directions:
Head east from Edmonton on the Yellowhead Trail (Hwy 16), going through Elk Island Park and past the Ukrainian Cultural Centre. Turn right on RR183 (we’ll have the corner marked). Jeff’s acreage is the first driveway on the right.
From Hwy 216 and Hwy 16 this trip is approximately 30 minutes.
