We’ve received our first donation! My parents donated the ridiculous mountain of bottles that have been collecting for the last year and a half.
After multiple trips to the bottle depot (the little Focus just doesn’t work very well for this kind of massive load), we’ve managed to walk away with $237 (£147.50) for our charities!! This definitely sets a standard that we challenge anyone to beat 
In the meantime, we’re going to have nightmares about bottles for many nights to come, but it’s great to know that only a couple days into this, we’re 15% of the way to our minimum charitable goal.

I’m sure we’ll have another ‘little mountain’ of bottles for you before the Ralley. It’s a great cause… what an exciting venture for you both.
